When it comes to audio recordings, VRS Recording System can do a lot for you. It is capable of recording up to 64 channels simultaneously, it has several activation modes, a flexible search functionality and many other useful features. From simple microphone recordings to recording conversations from external sources, this lightweight utility has a staggering number of uses.

VRS Recording System is free to try for a limited period of time, without any significant restrictions. It works on all modern Windows platforms and it supports both 32 and 64-bit editions. The software doesn't have any special requirements and you don't have to sacrifice too many resources.

The software provides you with Record buttons for each separate channel. They are all displayed directly on the main user interface, together with sound strength indicators. By default, only one Record button is available, which is set to automatic recording, but you can change things immediately, without any effort.

You can choose between different starting modes, and make other tweaks, for each channel, by right clicking them and selecting the appropriate options. Besides the manual mode, which involves you clicking the button yourself, you can enable a voice activation mode or set the application to record continuously. Furthermore, VRS Recording System can be controlled with external hardware and phones.

Additional channels can be enabled and configured on a separate window. You can select different recording devices and inputs and you can optionally choose between various telephony devices for caller ID, like SSTP or PPTP. It is also possible to select a default recording mode, to set an output folder for that specific recording channel and more. Once you have your audio channels set up, you can start recording right away, with a single click. The best part is that you can record from up to 64 different sources simultaneously.

Regardless of what and how you wish to record, VRS Recording System will certainly meet all your expectations.

Pros

VRS Recording System can record up to 64 different channels simultaneously. It lets you define and configure each channel separately. It can be voice activated, scheduled, controlled remotely and more.

Cons

There are no obvious design flaws or functionality gaps to address.
